UNWG Kiosk: Shop the World

The Kiosk gift shop is the daily fundraiser of the UNWG and has been in operation for almost 30 years since its opening in 1996. It is the second biggest fundraiser after the Bazaar and is operated entirely by UNWG member volunteers. The shop is a daily showcase of the UNWG. It is located inside Gate 1 of the Vienna International Center (VIC) and is accessible to the public. Handmade jewelry, special orders and repairs are made on site by our volunteers.  Products from around the world, upcycled products, UNWG logo items, and Austrian souvenirs are also on offer.

In recent years, the Kiosk has strived to promote more sustainable products that have no negative environmental impact. We offer a selection of biodegradable pens, seed pencils, recycled paper notepads, recycled United Nations conference banner bags, bamboo cups, and more.

The Kiosk supports the sale of goods from partner organizations whose proceeds also benefit children, and from local and international artists who support the UNWG charities. Special sales in the VIC are organised monthly with a focus on days such as International Women's Day, World Environment Day, and Mother’s Day.

The Kiosk at VIC Gate 1 is open to the public Monday to Friday, 12:00-15:00 hours. You may also contact us by email: unwgkiosk@gmail.com.
